This place is awesome! The food is tasty & priced very well. Staff is super friendly & speedy. I couldn't get to 5 stars for a couple of minor reasons: for starters is the closing time which is 7:45. Another restaurant in town closes at 2:00pm so I guess it could be worse but by 7:15 they're stacking chairs (loudly) & closing up. It's pretty obvious they want you gone at or before 7:45. The place itself could use a remodel as well. Both of these are very minor negatives though so don't let the lack of one star scare you away. Very good Mexican food at a very good price so a couple of imperfections are acceptable.

A staple in this family for 4 generations and always a delight. #1 combo plate with red... thank you! Thursday night special - carnitas, papas and spinach... yes, please! I've eaten every item on the menu over the many years we've enjoyed Padilla's and everything always tastes great. Always. It is a small restaurant and always busy. If you have the time and are going with a party of six or more, wait until 6:45. Rush has finished and the wait is not as long. Enjoy!

Had the chicken enchiladas with green sauce. Wasn't hot. The service was good. Food came out fast. I can see it's well liked by the locals.

The food was excellent! Stopped in our way back from Durango, Colorado to Texas. Our waitress was great. She directed us on what to order, especially meals ideal for the kids and best value and taste for us. Happy I was carrying cash as they don't take credit.

ABSOLUTELY the BEST authentic New Mexican food in Albuquerque!!! Padilla’s is my first stop after I land back home in Albuquerque and my last mean before I head to the airport - every time I’m home to visit! Padilla’s is a favorite of my entire family! Please don’t ever change! Oh yea, and please make a cookbook!
